Survey Results
The District conducted a community-wide survey in November and December that was shared with all staff and mailed to every household in the school district to gather qualitative and quantitative data to provide our School Board feedback on if the community is willing to invest in our facilities, what projects they prioritized and when we should get started.
The survey closed on December 6, 2023. The school board was presented with the results in January by School Perceptions, an independent, third-party consultant with expertise in school district surveys.
The findings were as follows:
480 respondents (compared to 218 respondents in 2021-22 survey)
- 93% of respondents are district residents
- 69.3% support for $1.2M/ 4-year operational referendum
- 57.5% support for $28M proposed capital (facilities) referendum
- 62.8% support for expanding capital (facilities) referendum to include $2.5M Tech Ed/CTE project
